WELLS CARGO GOES ON THE ROAD WITH ACCESS-ABLE DESIGNS

Salem, VA. (June 28, 2006) – Access-ABLE Designs announced today that Wells Cargo, the company which pioneered the entire trailer industry, continues to set the standard for quality engineering, manufacturing, and design.  Wells Cargo introduces the Comfort Elite ADA Series portable bathroom trailer which includes the Access-ABLE Designs own Model W440 Toilet Transfer Bench.

The Comfort Elite ADA Series is specifically designed to accommodate the unique needs of disabled users.  Comfort Elite ADA units are not just ADA Accessible, but ADA compliant meeting or exceeding the permanent structure criteria as specified by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Together with the Model W-440 Toilet Transfer Bench, disabled users will have the confidence knowing that the toilet facility they are using in the Comfort Elite ADA unit is safe and easy to use.

Ian Kettering, Engineering Designer with Wells Cargo said “when researching the design for our trailers, we contacted an ADA accessibility consultant that highly recommended the W-440 Toilet Transfer Bench by Access-Able Designs.  And after seeing the attributes of this seat in action, we are of the opinion that the ADA Board should make the Toilet Transfer Bench a mandatory product for all accessible toilets, we’ve had many positive comments on it and we find the folks at Access-Able to be delightful to deal with.”
